CPC Engineering

I worked in CPC Engineering Pty Ltd 7 days a week for the first week and 6 days on the following week, 1 day off for 12 hours everyday. I've learned underground safety precautions. Where it needs very high proficiency in manpower and safety management. The working culture are fair. The hardest part of the job are when the expected materials did not arrive on requested dates which causes the great delayed impact to the project. I enjoyed most on circuit analyzing, testing and commissioning, documentations, and wiring termination on the MCC, LCS panels and motors.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Mechanical industry and doing full shut down.task

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Where there is more  task with limited number of personal on site to do task.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
A well condisive area to live and work at.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
More than happy to be part of the multi culture group..to share idea's and work with.

My belief, extremely dangerous long working hours, travelled long distances to mine sites then worked a full 12 hr shift, workforce extremely fatigued after each long shift resulting in numerous vehicle accidents and a fatality, whilst I work there. You were single out or removed if you dare mentioned poor safety to management, safety or KS. I could only describe the culture as Turn and burn, Union didn’t want intervene on safety concern   .

CPC is a good company they look after their permanent employees I  would recommend my friends to work for them if they looking for a permanent position not to work as a casual, they expect a bit to much out of you.
The thing I did not like about CPC is that if you working for someone else and if they call you for a job they expect you to come running back to them or get blocked for future roles.

CPC Engineering are an awesome company who look after their employees always.
You do your fair share and the company will reward you. They have good HR skills.

While i was with CPC i valued the well balanced work week. hourly rate was above average with opportunities to increase overtime based on how my role evolved.
Excellent team environment with collaborative meetings meant that everyone felt they had an important part to play.

we were to repair the jaw crusher but we dont know what exactly they wanted us to do whether they want to change the jaws or flip the m.we were just running around to find the right person who can give us the right information.Any how atlast we were able to find the right person and got the job done

working in hot and humid spaces, learnt alot of skills from boilermakers, fitters and scaffolders.  hard part is getting up for work, most enjoyable is getting paid for a full fortnights work.

Isolate,Secure,Test,Evaluate,Proceed is what you need to apply when working as an electrician.

Work in dusty places.

Meet lots of people coming from lots of different places. You will get very dirty but can wash it of with a beer.

Provides training
Provides manning to major shutdowns
Enjoy working in different mine sites
Co Operate with all lives of people
