Accomplished account manager working in Debenhams Ipswich for seven years within the retail sector. Delivery of sales and luxury service are key within my role.  An eye for detail and maintaining the highest standards while working with the public to maintain brand image at all times.  As an account manager I am responsible for the motivation of my team to maximise sales opportunities for my account.  

There are many aspects to the role which include:

Not every day is the same, being a part of a team that is warm & welcoming & you just want to go back the next day. Always learning something new and being rotated where your not doing repetitive work. To know that this company caters to not only Australia but Worldwide is a success in itself, and from my perspective it is the Staff & Supervisors, CEO who are the driving force behind this successful company.  I can honestly say that this company had brought the best out of me as a casual employee & I am privileged to say that I have been trained in all aspects of the Warehousing Industry by the best.

Working as a freelance make-up artist for Chanel was both challenging and rewarding. Primarily I was called in for local Trend-shows at Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. I loved working for Chanel, great compensation and fun environment. My regional manager was awesome and would call me whenever possible. Standing for long hours at a time was sometimes difficult, but the energy at the shows helped the day go by quickly. My clients always left feeling pretty and beautiful. I needed to meet a certain quota for the day and was very good at making sure I did so.

If you are the type of person to be distracted by perks such as snacks and monthly happy hours, this is the place for you.
When I first started, I had a genuine love for their mission and I believed that our company had its employees/clients best interests at heart. For example, the work/life balance is great. The maternity leave here is awesome, and there are some outreach efforts to impact our surrounding community. There is also a portal dedicated to internal mobility-- but the reality of internal growth opportunities is less promising than presented.

If you love heritage and beauty, CHANEL is were you want to be... However behind the beauty you must have a mind and talent for sales, elegance, and most of all a team player whilst being BEIGE. Chanel is an amzing place to work and you learn to appreciate this amazing brand. Prove yourself worthy and you can have an amazing career. My advice is go for it never gossip, be professional , always look your best. 

This place is magical but you must be clever, hardworking, learn quickly.

Colleagues were biased, selfish, always talking behind someone’s back. Never really a true intention to work together, they only care about themselves. Management is bias as well depending on if you are a top seller, they will side with a top seller for even if they did something extremely morally wrong. Good people are all leaving, leaving the rotten apples together which will create more drama and be a more toxic workplace

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Very strong employees, motivating to always be better at your work

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Elevated work environment, feels like a family in a large company, your opinion counts

Great role with new learning skills daily, pushed to great limits at Christmas time, built great friendships with different counters and managers and wonderful training included with lots of gifts...worked hard and got to push myself with overall different selling skills,

Unfortunately my experience hasn’t been what I thought it would be.. 
but the product itself is beautiful to sell and work with 
But unfortunately I think due to covid restrictions the training was all online which was a tad unfortunate

Most toxic management and work environment to be at. Shameless favouritism and unnecessary micromanagement in every counter! Love the products, but not worth the anxiety and headache working there.
