Working at T1 the atmosphere is overall ok. However, in terms of fair shift availability and distribution Certis is probably one of , if not , the worst place to get a fair go. There is a certain group of “ the favourite “ people who always get the most shifts and the best shifts such as weekends and public holidays where the pay is significantly more then any other normal day on the job. 
Most team leaders who are predominantly in charge of job allocation on a day to day, are very bias and allocate their favourite group of officers in certain relaxed positions during the shift, resulting in these people not doing much work and/or not taking their job seriously.
A lot of “ the favourites “ offer very poor customer service and do not comply with SOP’s. 
They always get away without any consequence when doing so.
People who have families and raising children unfortunately can not make a proper living out of this job as they are never given enough hour to earn the basic income. It is why Certis has such high volume of employees coming and going all the time. 

I work in a foreign workers management environment.
My job is assisting a police officer in conducting duties regarding desipline of foreign workers ( e.g littering, urinating, fighting and spitting).
Projecting my uniform presence at all times and doing customer service as well.
Working with honesty at work.
Being punctual, proper uniform attire is a requiremt by my company (code of conduct).
Maintaining discipline of foreign workers is not an easy task because they come from all walk of life and from many parts of the world.
Enjoy interecting with foreigners.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I am working with this company for last 5 years since they bought My previous company working with SNP. Since then Certis doing very good overall all parts of the work related issues. Staff are very happy. They increase hours rates, giving more flexibility more benefits and so on

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stressed at all . Company working very hard to not to give any stress to employees. They are closely working with unions to solve all the problems.?

Fare works environment totally.

Tbh, there’s none that I would consider being stressful.

Awesome and fun working in different environments with an amazing team.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The work is full on and requires much more than just being a security guard. Interpersonal skills and communication skills are highly required and being effective at all times.

If you enjoy getting abused from employers and employees certis is the place. 99% of the staff at certis don’t care about you or the job. During my time at certis (AVIATION SECURITY) at Kingsford domestic airport, I had been treated so inhumanly. Pay was NEVER on time or accurate! Payroll would “forget” to pay the correct amount and would often delay your pay by days. Managers, supervisors even HR have no sense of direction or leadership! 
Overall Certis is a Terrible company to work for. Not worth the stress, time or money!

Very poor upper management. Lack of understanding of the actual job. Very slow to hire staff which meant current staff having to work extremely long hours, which means no work and home life balance.
Pay was always incorrect. No support for staff. Very frustrating to have to call daily and weekly because they could not get rosters and pay right.
High demand on staff

Not a bad  company to work with but the level in which they want cannot be met with the under performing tools given to carry out such tasks
The level at which management see the employee doesn't benefit them and morale is lost
How Certis terminates employees is not to code by federal government standards and therefore causes angst
All in all Certis still needs to develop a better relationship between mothers and workers 

The job is generally fine with manageable stress levels and fair pay. I enjoy working here, though experiences can vary depending on the leadership and colleagues. Some coworkers tend to be lazy and use tricks to avoid work and gain extra breaks, which management doesn’t adequately address. Overall, it’s a decent place to work but could benefit from stronger oversight on employee performance.

But give it a try....it has its charms, if you are not afraid to work hard. Laziness is a no go. 
Airport environment in general is great. You need patience, dedication and to be physically fit for the role. 
You'll need to understand the passengers needs and their behavior under stress. Keep your calm. 
Appear presentable and clean/well groomed at all times,  as you are the ambassador of your company.

Terrible place to work, the management starting from the low level of team leaders all the way to security services manager have no people skills, no leadership skills at all. Rotating roster starting 3:30am and late finishes 23:00. Get rostered 7 hours 45 minutes and just for the 15 minutes you are missing the second break, but thats SNP - CERTIS.
