While I was working at BRC I really enjoyed my job,  there was a great opportunity to make an impression on the management team, I found them very cooperative with the employees and it gave me the opportunity to improve my skills for the rest of my career and I would love to have the opportunity to work with the club in the future I found it an amazing job that had a lot of benefits that you don’t find in other work places, like on race days and then during the week we would do jobs like mowing and setting up the running rails, I was able to get hands on in the stable areas and worked closely with the trainers and there staff, I did have some work that you could not do at any other work place 

Fun, face past place to work, always something to do, it's a long big day/event.was a bit frustrating at times working with people who have never worked in the bar or food industry before, a lot of them don't speak good English either so makes it a bit thought to teach them and the customers got annoyed, sesh the more they drank.

At the Brisbane Racing club I learned fast bar skills and cash handling skills. I also learned how to practice my Responsible service of alcohol and responsible gaming license while working with the public, I had lots of fun and met great people I leaned about the history of the racing culture and much more.

event driven so the variety was good from horse racing, carnival time, markets, functions, conferences and trade shows. was able to implement and try new ideas, and had control over all food and beverage operations. there was also time to be able to train staff when events weren't busy.

If you love a fast paced atmosphere, to work to perfection, then this is the job for you. Must be able to work efficiently and professionally at all times.

This was my first job. I would only work on Saturdays and for 8ish hours. Pay was bi-weekly. You were never in the same spot teice for shifts, made it very unreliable to learn routines and other workplace conditions.

Very friendly staff and management, like a small family. Very enjoyable workplace to be in with rewarding benefits. Great for those wanting to work in a hospitality industry that makes you feel important.

Ok has good and bad working conditions too many people who don't know industry 
And think they do need more experience staff in hospitality 
Don't train enough 
Staff can't speak English 

everyone works well as a team. we all get along great. love it. very multicultural with majority of the workers on working visa's this has given me many life long mates I have all over the world.

Brisbane racing club is a excellent place to work, Great healthy work and life balance. Good atmosphere and great work collages and patrons
