As a casual job for high school or university students, this would have to be one of the best - you get to play with kids and Lego - what could be better?? Hours are also incredibly flexible around other commitments.

The staff are all very friendly and the managing team is well-organised and approachable - overall lovely people to work with. 

You learn by doing and get plenty of opportunities to develop interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and confidence in leadership. 

There are both elements of routine in the role, in terms of the programs and activities offered, and lots of variety, as with any people-based role. The advantage of this is that the routine aspects help foster a sense of competency, while the variation make it fun and interesting. 

There are some challenging days, as with any workplace, but you are generally well-supported through these. Overall, I would absolutely recommend to anyone who enjoys working with kids! 

Bricks 4 Kids in Logan City is a great place to work with a welcoming culture, supportive team members, and comprehensive training. The classes are engaging and enjoyable, and it's rewarding to see the impact you're making on children's lives by fostering their creativity and problem-solving skills. The company's commitment to STEM education is impressive, making it a fulfilling experience for anyone who loves LEGO and enjoys working with children.

The work here is very simple and does not require much skills except for relationship building with kids and common sense supervision skills. This simplicity allowed for the work environment to be stress free and fun; you were able to have fun with the kids and other instructors. The people you work with are great and enjoyable to be around and have a conversation with or to have a few jokes with. The most difficult part of the job would be exhaustion after a full day, if the group of kids you have are very chaotic and poor listeners, but other than that the job is easy.

After being a stay at home mom for almost 12 years, with very little prior work experience and a 14 years old university degree, I felt like no one would ever hire me and I may need to either go back to university or be a stay at home mom for ever.
Bricks4Kidz gave me the opportunity to get into the workforce and taking baby steps I started to gain more confidence in my abilities.

Working for Bricks4Kidz has been amazing as my customers are usually young kids and I love to see the smile on their face at the end of each workshop when they show what they have created to their parents.

Bricks4Kidz is such a fantastic place to work! I have been with the business for 4+ years and have loved every second. The work culture is fun yet professional and the management is so easy to get along with. They are very understanding and I always feel comfortable to voice any concerns.

It is the perfect place to work for anyone in school, university or even just looking for another casual job as the hours are very flexible and shifts are mostly on the weekends and school holidays. It is also perfect for those who love working with children as you get to meet many different kids and they are always so much fun!

Since I started working at Bricks 4 Kidz, I have enjoyed every aspect of the work. I often work on parties with children, and school holiday programs - both events of which are very enjoyable. I would recommend working at Bricks to anyone interested in careers in childcare, teaching, or anything education-wise. B4K offers casual, part, and full-time employment - of which I work casually. I work flexible hours with the help of a very helpful and understanding management team. Would recommend applying for a job here any day of the week.

Bricks 4 Kidz is an incredible and fun working environment that I thoroughly enjoyed working at. It is a flexible job that provides you with valuable skills and also, and opportunity to have fun and enjoy yourself while working. The staff environment and community is impeccable as all of the workers and managers are kind and respectful people who know what it takes to run a business and succeed. 

I worked at Brickzforkids in Queensland, the manager was so horrible and a perfectionist (the bad kind) the only person who could do anything right was her daughter, I cried multiple times as I was trying my best but it was never good enough. I don’t think they realise how they come across. I went to visit a sick family member in another country and never heard back from them. Absolutely disgusting. Sometimes they pop up on social media and they are always looking for a new team member... I wouldn’t be surprised if they fire all their staff.

After working here for over a year I feel this is the best job for those who like working with children. One of the best parts of my job is seeing the same kids every holidays or school term and building relationships with them. The management is excellent as they always push you to do your best while supporting you to grow further, they also provide flexible working conditions. The workplace is friendly and I have loved getting to know everyone. By far the best job I’ve had and probably will ever have.
