Working here requires wearing high vis and steel cap boots. There's also lots of machinery and lots of different areas where you can work to process orders. The training is adequate - you don't have to worry about not knowing what to do. The team and management are good to work with and will address any concerns you might have. You will also gain a lot of experience with warehouse work and what's involved. There's an element of repetition if you work here, as there are lots of orders to process and pick and pack. The systems here are all user friendly and fellow staff members won't hesitate to help you out if you need it.

While working at booktopia i always felt like i was doing more than i should've been doing, At times it felt like the warehouse workers were not looked after as much as the higher ups or the accounting team was, we struggled working day to day and if a problem were to rise we'd solve it and adjust our working environment to fit the change and sometimes it was too hard , the managers at booktopia don't seem to care about the warehouse workers because like i mentioned earlier when ever a problem arose, they always scolded us and punished us even if it wasnt our fault, and we worked ten times hardeer everyday but no once did we get to rest on 35 plus degree hot days instead our workload was doubled the next day ,

It doesn't matter how much of a hard worker you are and how much consistency you show they will always replace you. The job is fantastic but management is so lost that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Expect alot of office politics in management because you will never be good enough for them because you're not one of their favourites. Once they make an opinion on you it is set in stone and they will look for any excuses to get rid of you or make your job harder. Alot of people that have been working there for years have left because they notice the quality and leadership has dropped off in management. If you work here you have to keep your head down and not step on any egg shells.

A very rude bosses+racist and treating their employees so bad they just don’t care how you feel or whatever happens in the warehouse with you they don’t care at all so stressful environment and the warehouse is full of the ones who are families or friends of the bosses and they just treat them good but don’t care about the other employees who aren’t their families and friends and in hot days they just put the fans for the one’s who are their families no attention to other workers. My worst experience of working in this warehouse.

The work ethics is wonderful, the mangers and team leaders act their roles with efficient instructions making the work environment amazing to work in, they are always encouraging the workers to help each other, implementing communication around the work place, so that everything can run smoothly 




Management is awesome - they make sure to explain everything so that everyone understands, no such thing as too many questions as they do care about staff safety. The workplace is also a fun place to work - time flies, the vibes are immaculate. I enjoy showing up to work and I leave work tired but excited to see what the next shift will bring.

Everyone would greet me with a smile on their faces with a positive attitude to work. I learned about basic office support needs to file important files in a certain order. Hardest part of the job was leaving at the end of the day and the most enjoyable was working.

They are investing in technology which will help the workers grow along  with the company .  The colleagues are good to work with. International food festival and fun.

I loved this job a lot i wish I had again, I enjoyed it as it was easy & fun. I got let go January, 2024 because of not enough work. So I was disappointed, only there for 2 months. 

Management doesn’t take care of employees that work hard everyday. Favouritism is a big thing and the culture in the office is very political. Many of the workers I know there hate the bosses. They want you to be available 5 days a week but will constantly cancel you.
