Bond University was a great place to work. With the particular roles I undertook there was never any downtime and new situations always presented themselves. I learnt to think quickly on my feet and take each new challenge as an experience to grow. My direct manager was easy to approach and accommodating and fellow co-workers were a productive team with great personalities which made "going to the office" a pleasure daily.
The hardest part of this job was certainly time management and patience and the most enjoyable part was the relationships built with administrative/academic/management and external customers.

•	Answered telephone and reception enquiries
•	Provided efficient and reliable word processing and data entry using MS Office Suite, Refworks and Indesign
•	Academic research and formatting documents and end-text references in accordance with publication standards
•	Maintained library resources / Responsible for asset register / Cataloguing
•	Coordinated appointments, calendar bookings using Outlook
•	Photocopying, filing, book binding, faxing, scanning and maintaining office equipment

Appointment and meeting organisation, screening phone calls, general administrative duties with a little finance and HR.  Co-workers were friendly and it was a good team environment.  Management were also very good, everyone was productive and the Faculty ran very well. 
Most enjoyable part was ensuring students/staff were assisted as required, hardest part of the job was when you couldn't get the right answer to complete a task.
I learned a huge amount about the higher education system, learning and teaching development, programs and subjects and how they fit into degree planners.

The most enjoyable part of my job is teaching students about the stuff that I am so passionate about. The hardest part is trying to engage the uninterested students. Although, this provides a great challenge to me and pushes me to be more creative in the way I deliver the curriculum. 

I have learned to be patient with the learning speeds of others and have come to enjoy watching concepts and processes click in the minds of the students.

My co-workers are encouraging and wonderful people to work with. There is a community feeling here at Bond University which makes it a great place to work.

The work culture in my team at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine is the worst I have ever come across.  Fighting between members, not working as a team, unhappy staff, staff members treated unfairly, incompetent manager, political issues, contract issues with collaborators, spending hundreds of thousands on a patent that, in my opinion, will never benefit the university.  I feel for the organisation who donated the money to the group.  In my opinion, a new dean and manager are required the right the ship.

Not family friendly. High work pressure.

Team Culture and work environment.

High pressure and not friendly

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Not a pleasant working environment.

Excellent atmosphere, support and great staff to work with to complete a Special Project for the Dean.  The position was a temporary assignment and although extended, could not become permanent.

Bond University was a fabulous place to work.  I loved every aspect of the job, got paid well and met lots of interesting people.  I loved working with Australians and enjoyed working with the doctors and medical students as well.  I developed great skills and my communication skills were great.

Horrible management who will twist your words. Backstabbing staff who pretend to be your friend by will push you under the bus. HR only care about protecting the company not the workers rights. No job security for people on contracts

This was a great opportunity for me to gets some hands on legal experience from Professors that understood the importance of work life balance, and were extremely appreciative of your assistance.
