I initially enjoyed my role here, until the workload became too much & too stressful to the point of me going home crying, and then going to sleep and having to do it all over again the next day.

I consulted with management about being understaffed & the stressful workload, however nothing was done. I quit after management belitted me, saying I STILL wasn't working hard enough (and trust me, I was working harder than I've ever done in a job), and the pay honestly was not worth it. You can get more working in retail!

They also make YOU pay for THEIR uniform, and if you wear the wrong style of pants or jacket (even if you're working in an office & NO customers are seeing you) they will pull you up on it, and make you buy more uniform items. And no, you don't get reimbursed when you leave the job. You also get in trouble for not speaking to your co workers on your break about your personal life (god forbid you want privacy)!

The role itself was fine, you learn a lot & some customers can make your day. However, I just think the AMOUNT OF work/tasks is so stressful & the management team is so undermining & treat you like nothing.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Fun, fast paced environment. Fantastic staff. Everyone goes out of the way to make you feel welcome. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
On occassion there are not many tourists staying at the park leading to not enough hours.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
This was a fun and interesting place to work. The staff are all nice and willing to help out when needed.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Sign in and meet up with the other housekeeping staff. 
Load up the linen and stock trolleys.
Head out and clean the accommodation rooms.  Changing linen, sheets towels etc. restocking fridges and toiletries, and clean the room.
Then room service, room to room for the customers staying, a quick tidy of the room, top up stock, and ask if visitors need anything.
Pack up and put away the trolleys. Sort and fold linen and put away for further use.

Nature of a holiday park environment is wonderful. Doing your set tasks, preventative maintenance & even communicating with guests & assisting them if they have a problem especially if it's Park property.
Unfortunately, there is a huge communication problem where direction varies each day & when there is feedback on your tasks that are "not acceptable",management refuses to discuss what is required standard!!!
Never been in a situation like this in my working life.
Totally unacceptable & confusing to say the least!!!!!!!!!!!
Most of the hard workers at this workplace perservere until they are offered another job. Very high turnover of personnel which speaks for itself. Unfortunately, you don't find out these toxic workplaces until you experience it for yourself.

Park manager had 0 clue on how to deal with complaints and mostly ignored them, sent someone else to deal with it or blamed anything wrong on the person complaining. Had no idea of the goings on of anyone else's job. Constantly short staffed with hiring process taking months to replace previous employees, expecting current employees to cover for them without asking. Annual leave was usually rejected, sick days were not paid. Owners were more worried about their own pockets then how the park was being maintained. One specific incident is a cabin deemed too run down to be booked suddenly appearing on the website again for the same amount as new and refurbished cabins of the same kind. Employees were told to shut up and just deal with the constant complains about the room

Great staff to work with, the onsite manager is very approachable and works harder than anybody there. Staff issues the last 2 years has made it a bit of a pressure cooker at times but once fully staffed the eb and flow is great. Its a very enjoyable customer service roll. The focus is on the guests in the park and ensuring they have the best experience to encourage repeat guests. Every day is similar but the seasons dictate the added extras that we provide for the guests. Its not competative, we are a team and all work together. Dont apply if you are not wanting to be a team player. Only downside is the pay. They are paying standard minimum wages for the industry with no perks or fringe benefits. 

Management at Forbes Big 4 are i not at all organised, it is a stressful, non- supportive environment. One half of management is a total bully and is rude to customers and staff.
   I own a caravan and travel extensively and am totally embarrassed by this park as I regularly stay at Bug 4 parks elsewhere and it’s an awesome experience. 
   The turn over of staff is totally understandable as it is a horrendous work place!

Sometimes you get to keep lost property.

Lots of work in short periods of time 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work culture is okay. Pretty toxic management staff 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Always lots to get done and not enough time always end up leaving late or not being able to complete things 100%

I work as a casual full time here, usually from 9am to 2:30pm. 
Working here is like cleaning your house I did learn how to make bed nice and presentable,the only hardest part is vacuuming, because tbe one that we're using is pretty heavy. But aside from that everything is good. its fun always have a laugh with my house keeping team, management are very polite.

I would live in this park and run it if I had the money love love love it.

The park is beautiful and clean 
Got some really nice cabins now and they ate well worth the sysy there....

Was a great opportunity getting to work in a park that is a big4 park!! The team of girls i worked with were awsome and mostly fun loving bubbly hard workers.
Management needs some courses in managing staff giving incentives and appreciation for staff hard work..
