A day of planning, thinking ahead, ensuring all tasks are met with an positive outcome. Working as a team, and involving the team to do great work. Supporting all departments and staff where needed. Giving feedback on the work presented. 

I learnt how to people skill, build up relationships, management skills and and how to approach and handle situations of all types. 

Management here is great, striving for excellent with being fair. Flexible where needed and supported. 

Workplace culture is great, great staff and a friendly workplace. Really enjoy it here. 

Ensuring all tasks are met, putting the effort in and supporting leadership teams + staff for a positive end of day outcome. Planning ahead for next day. Working as one team. 

Work hours are 8am to 5pm, but only get paid for 7.6 hours. Pay is lousy to industry/role standards and is one of the reasons I've left the company. Also, lots of co-workers were regulary in early each day and worked through lunches to get through their workload. Lots of departments had workers and managers eating lunch at their desks,  while there are two lunch rooms and two outdoor seating areas which are largely unused most of the time. 




This place can be productive and fun but the management are very toxic they simply do not look after there employees this place has high turnover.. if you ask them a question about safety they run away and avoid you .. your job description is different when you apply for the job they make you do other duties simply to cover a sick employee training is not adequate and effective and allote of miss communication from management and can make you feel very comfortable 

Wages 40k yearly salary.
38k back in maccas.

Shocking management stressful hours huge number of multi drops even picking up credits.
Parts are easily damaged some are misplaced or in the wrong packaging for return. 
 
Also with credits you must empty entire Ute out in order to place credits in the back following all orders inside so you can deliver parts starting off locals at the front and all further customers in the back of Ute.

Great group of people and I company that looks after there employers well being in and out of work

Just the high demand for product .

Like any other .you just need to have the right positive attitude

Busy but satisfying. Always something to keep you busy

The apg team provides a great team working environment, with flexible working hours and the ability to work from home. There is plenty of opportunity to grow and adapt with this progressive organisation. It is well worth being a part of apg's  journey towards continuous change. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
At the moment there is nothing great about working at APG. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They have unrealistic ways of doing things and expect things that be done way to fast.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's very toxic. Worst place I've worked in.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working in the hot sun, working in the rain.

Mainly hire centrelink workers and then shifts them off a week or so later, 

Management doesn't have the backs of warehouse staff 

Very cliquey behaviour from most employees,

Pays to be friends with the higher ups in this role as favouritism is rife.

Will find the most minute reasons to dismiss you, (will let other employees get away with what you get punished for)

APG has great culture and work benefits. Management is supportive and encouraging and you get opportunities you wouldn't get in other businesses. the team is great. Love the benefits - especially the APG Me day and the monthly BBQ's. The monthly get together are great to understand how APG is going and to celebrate achievements for the month. So glad I started at APG.  

They try to be flexible with you when it comes to taking a day off because they don't want to lose anymore staff specially when they are low on staff.
