Will usually help AM shift to finish there tasks so that when pm shift pickers start picking we have room and functionality to start palletizing (scanning totes to pallet) and wrapping customer orders for transport company. i also enjoyed induct as machine operator learning and problem solving with computer and manual adjustment settings.

I worked very long hours as I liked to finish all work before going home, so I could start the next day with a clean slate.
The teams I lead were great, I always worked with them and they were very eager to get the job done.
I loved having a joke and a laugh with my team members.
The hardest part was trying to stay within the budget with damages and lost stock,this was a challenge that I was passionate about.
I enjoyed my job and the challenges it gave me eveyday, no two days were the same.
I had an approachable Manager as well which made it a comfortable 
place to work.

constantly watched to see if you are being productive.
No matter how hard you worked, you kept being told you were not up to scratch.
Management spies on you from the top floor office, with the lights off, so they think you can't see them.
Very unnerving, especially when you are working your hardest

I worked in the Distribution centre  there or Ten years and mostly men would progress in senior rolls, The day to day was a grind to get the work out it changed from day to day depending on how busy it was.
I learnt how to Safe and efficient operation of Dramatic pick-to-voice system .
Developed a high level of communication and negation skills.

Very good environment of work !!

As you get trained so it’s easy to take and face challenges regarding work easily!! 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very nice environment and friendly people from different culture backgrounds .

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Used to be all same but weekends typically different and good times in rate wise.

They can ask employees to come any time they want and ask to finish shift any time. Initially they say 8 hours shift for whole week, then almost every day they will ask you to finish after 3-4 hours. And you will not get all 5 days a week. Hardly 2-3 days. Its simply waste of time working here. They simply don't care about employees. The most selfish management I've ever seen.

API was a great company to work for and was tough to leave but due to the required rotating roster and after-hours/weekend work I had to choose to leave.  The management and co-workers were for the most part excellent, and although the job could be difficult it could also be rewarding.

Working for API gave me the opportunity to gain more work skills such as voice pick,compactors , using cameras on high reach and a variety of other skills

working environment was good. it had a multicultural environment that helped me to understand different types of people from various backgrounds.
management was fair. 
co-workers were very helpful and had a team work spirit which was good for the productivity of the company.
