A typical day for me would consist of starting up the extruder and pugmill, then organising what sort of bricks and how many were needed for the shift. Management was like any management, they were really happy and co-operative when machines were running well but hard to get along with when they wern't running so well. My co workers were great, i still talk to some of them now. They were really helpfull when it came to teaching me how to learn the machines because they were hard to get the hang of. The hardest part of the day would be the frustration you have when the machines break down. The most enjoyable part of the job would be the eagerness for everyone to help each other and when the machines are running well it becomes a very easy day at work.

A typical day of work for me involved managing up to 8 staff members at once and taking care of the admin side of sales and KPI's.
I learned how to manage a team effectively and respectfully.
I got along with upper management well and worked very closely with them. My co-workers were a fantastic group of girls who all worked closely together to ensure the work was done accurately and in a timely manner.

The hardest part of the job was adjusting from being a team member to team leader so that staff would listen to me but because we had a mutual respect for each other it ended up being a smooth transition. The best part was the staff and admin side of my work I believe it is important to have mutual respect between staff and management for the department to run smoothly and effectively and I loved doing the admin side of things because it helped visualise where the company's sales were and how far the department was from meeting budget.

Pays well (monthly) with 2 weeks pay advance, regular free meals and involves you in the production performance of the company  monthly and yearly but there isnt so much support from the shift supervisors.  Regional manaer and Site managers are great with good vision but values are only effective if everyone goes by their so called values. I wasnt personally given enough training but is expected to perform and reach the kpis. Cant realistically achieve the kpis if you are given enough training and is moved everywhere all the time. Good and insightful experience during my time here though

was a forkie in the yard and was somewhat left alone to do my job as preferred, dont need management up my bum all day telling me what to do when theyve never done the job themselves. constant bickering between management who hated eachother. workload was impossible for one guy to complete (note on dayshift they had 2 operators) nothing was ever good enough no matter how hard u worked, very happy to see the back of that place, would not recommend working there in the yard.

A good company to work for. All PPE etc is provided and they are inclusive of employees at most company functions however ONSITE  management is aloof. All production teams on day and night shifts are relatively autonomous. Maintenance is haphazard at best and shift politics is a real nightmare. There's an inner circle and an outer circle and it's very difficult to break inside and secure some favoritism for oneself

No day was the same all ways changing

My day started by checking the machine (De Hacker) or the transfer car.to ensure everything was in good working order. My day continued by transferring the cars from one track to another. I worked as part of a team

loverly place to work with good working culture and friendly staff. some small upper management concerns outside the maintenance department. but overall i would recommend working there.

Worked evenings as a commercial cleaner. I learned some new things about how bricks are made and how the whole brickmaking process works. Management was great. Work place culture was great too.

Great overall - no company is perfect but the people are great to work with (especially your own team). Only small opportunity to move around - but a great company to learn as much as you can.
