You could start work anytime between 1pm and 4pm and work for 6, 8 or 9.5hrs depending apon work load and availability of other staff members.
Your roster tells you what you could be doing: this could be cash processing where you are counting deposits, SCO's which is packing and unpacking Self Check Out canisters from coles, ATM's with is packing and unpacking ATM canisters for major banking institutes and credit unions or chipping wich is creating all the jobs into the system to be processed.
All Priority work needed to be completed within in that day so there was a strong need for accuracy and speed. To make the processes run faster there were KPI's to meet and Managers were always changing proceedures to make this happen.
Fatigue management was also Issue so to stop this from happening you were often changed around positions to stay more alert. 
My co-workes were always there to help and management always assisted if hte needed extra people.
I enjyed the challenge of working there and the thrill of constantly beating my record
the hardest part was ajusting to the changes and fast pase. but I feel it made me a better person

Management needs to become more accountable for what is basically a miserable place to be.  No background music (for some) no talking, no refusal to do a job etc...no recognition.   There is a definite inequality, unfairness and bully culture within the place.
Advancement is only by attrition or who you know.  The work is physically and mentally draining.  The pay is average and the hours are primarily night shift. Possibly the worse incoherent workplace I have ever been in.  The most enjoyable part of the job is a select few work colleagues who are considerate, help one another and make the time spent here bearable.

Excellent management, approachable, helpful and friendly, great working conditions. Excellent pay, satisfying environment.

There is no stressful part about working at the company. Challenges are always there but they are solvable.

Friendly, helpful and great teamwork 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Fantastic, every day is a bonus. Still alive.

Each business unit has a plan, My general observation is that they are loaded up with too much work and not enough resources.
The impact is no training time to mentor staff and develop skills.
The people are good to work with as they have a huge amount of focus on their targets etc.

The most dissatisfying part is they do a lot or proactive internal marketing and promote a huge amount of positive change.
Then they blindside people with mass redundancies. Highly unethical way to treat people.

Company operates on KPI systems  and expect you to exceed these  even when it means taking short cuts reducing your safety and crew safety
They just expect you to rush through  andnot consider  yours and crews safety.
Pushing staff  to unsafe levels. And when mistakes are made  wont accept their responsibility  just Constantly blaming under pressure crew  expecting staff to do 50 hours  and  skip breaks

doing the job its self was the best thing about working for armaguard
meeting new people ,filling atms ,being apart of a service for the banks and being out on the road 8-10hrs a day out on the open highway no one watch over you(not like an office job)
the staff where the problem "to many kings not enough workers"
they to busy trying to stab each other in the back when your not looking.(lies and back stabbing)

Since the job involves money, the work environment is fast paced and very serious. When you are in the working area, you are not allowed to talk to your nearby co-workers. Most of time, you work at late hours, so the atmosphere at work is quite heavy and blant. it's boring job but does comes with great security.

I worked at Armaguard for five years in that time I worked in all the rolls including in dispatch where I had great responsibility of loading and unloading the trucks monitoring they movements during the day and keeping the branch safe etc. I worked long hours the people were great to work with.

I was a permanent part time employee, shift work was require, worked there for nearly  8 yrs.
Maintaining accurate and efficient cash processing, procedures by the counting of cash and the verification of documents received to ensure balancing.
Maintaining a balanced account of cash through data entry / written checks.
Identify and report all discrepancies to the branch supervisor.
