Enjoyed working with my coworkers, they were all lovely. Pay wasn't very good, there were no weekend rates and for public holidays was paid only $6 above the normal rate, no overtime pay. The amount of work needing to be done, especially on the late closing shifts was too much for the amount of people scheduled on and I would often be working over my scheduled shift which was a problem particularly at night time. I found the flexibility of hours to be good. Culture between coworkers was good but felt quite micro-managed from higher management.

It is fun for a starting job but they micromanage every little thing, managers will cut ur hours frequently (even when there is 30mins-1h left) and cut shifts on the day itself - no progression. Hours are undefined with minimum of 8h per week for part time - says its not casual job but gives you casual hours. Pay is just above minimum wage, no weekend hours, public holidays is just $6 extra. Co workers are nice but feels left out when you dont talk the same language as them

Micromanaged over everything. Not even management but other workers too would make humiliating comments about you in-front of customers and coworkers. Pay is terrible with no weekend rates. On public holidays they don't pay double time, its an extra $4 an hour on top of your hourly rate. Workers there are already a tight-knit community and are demeaning and rude. Shifts and hours are fairly flexible.

They don't care about you at all. The pay is quite lower than the General Award ($21/h flat). 
They usually cancel or delay your shift literally 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.
No fun work environment. The guys from Israel in charge behave as if they are into a military base. There's no place there for you if you want a nice working environment

Staff and managers micromanage everything, and they make unprofessional comments. Management is not understanding at all, they do not care if you are sick, or tired or any other circumstances that might affect your performance at work. They make you feel like they do not care about you as a person at all. 

The company has a good system to manage the company and other business partner more than 40 branch around Australia. Also the way to organise the shop and staffs. Even how they produce are the best for gelato by using quality ingredients and gelato maker with skills

A very organised place to work, all staff very productive, times moved fast because is always something to do, fun place because the culture is very strong and the team is so multicultural and nice.

The people inside the place is nice but to much informal , you never know what day you need go.  The places is nice , the partner are nice , but the problem is the relativity inside to the gelataria.

At Chippendale the staff are very nice, the pay isn't that good but you do get lots of free ice cream and drinks if you want. It includes scooping, twirling fro-yo, and wiping tables.

Pay under award wage which is a shame as it would otherwise be a decent place to work some hours while studying. Sad they are allowed to get away with it under their 'enterprise agreement'
