Worst company I have ever worked for.

Honestly if you are looking at working for these people please don’t. I worked for them for two years and it was the worst two years of my life. The management is dishonest. The company do not care about their staff. They are only interested in as revenue and targets. They do not care about clients hearing it is all about forcing hearing aids down peoples throat’s. The role of client advisor is three Jobs in one. You have to do everything from logistics to accounts finance banking customer service repairs Hearing testing chemist campaigns and much much more. Management are extremely dishonest and if you do not play the game they will force you out. The stress is unbelievable and the workload utterly ridiculous please do not work for this company. They do not appreciate hard workers and other people  you work with who are lazy and do not have the skills required for this job seem to be appreciated more. They will push you out if you are not someone who will sit there and shut your mouth. Do not work for this company they are extremely bad to work for and it was the worst experience of my life.

You will be responsible for pretty much everything and if something goes wrong, or the business isn't consistently pouring through the door then it's all your fault and you will be told all day everyday to do better. I learned that it's not about caring for the customer it's about hassling people all day every day until they cave in and do what you tell them to do. They are like a dog with a bone, once they get you in the front door you, they will keep digging you up to have another bite. Management don't know how to treat people or how to speak nicely to the staff, they use strong, vocabulary to get the point across there is very few thank you moments. It is a completely negative workplace, if you go in with a really positive attitude they will kill it very quickly as you wilt under the pressure. Then they will have a go at you, because they want more. They haven't realised that you can't get blood out of a stone. The hardest part about the job is dealing with management and their constant hounding and excessive expectations. The most enjoyable part of the job is some of the lovely customers.

I worked at Amplifon for just over 4 months. I resigned due to terrible work-life balance, dishonest practices towards clients, and a culture of putting profits over client care.

They are also highly unprofessional, with it being inside knowledge to skip proper testing procedures at this company to pump out as many appointments as you can. They also sell some of the cheaper and unreliable hearing aids on the market, ripping off poor old people.

A good example of their dishonest practices would be "opportunity appointments" where they expect clinicians to sell hearing aids at the 3 year since initial purchase point. Hearing aids are designed to last 4-6 years, but the poor clients may not know this. They expect a sale whether the client needs new hearing aids or not.

In summary, they are unprofessional, money driven and don't give a stuff about anything but their share prices. A joke of a company. 

Role consisted of making outbound calls utilising an outbound dialler software and booking hearing test appointments with new clients.
The team leaders working at the time I was employed, were concerning. Truely, unprofessional and oftentimes threatening, when it came to the longevity of my employment, if I didnt meet targets. Lack of maturity from superiors and an understanding approach. 

Some team leaders, got satisfaction from having control over the team.  Which people didn't respond lightly to and walked out. 
No one deserves to be treated less then.
Although the work was more then okay. The environment made it all that more challenging. 

New system changes, created a more fast paced environment, adding to operator tension from the use of not user friendly call software. The Priority being efficiency.


Having worked for this company for a number of years  it has certainly changed a lot, and not for the better.
They want you to do more for less entitlements. 
They micro manage you to the hilt often wanting to sit in with you whilst your assessing clients. They will even insist on  joining the assessment via teams whilst your client has no idea, it’s disgusting. 
You will have multiple KPIs to meet which you could well be exceeding but unless you meet the conversion rate and opportunity to sale they will hound you until deaths end. 
Thankfully my clinic team were awesome and supportive. But seriously avoid working for Amplifon unless you don’t mind selling your soul. So glad I’ve left, no regrets at all. 

Terrible company that cares more about making money than helping customers or supporting staff. Management is obsessed with sales targets and revenue, with little to no genuine feedback, just constant pressure and threats if numbers aren’t met. Workplace issues are routinely ignored, including situations involving restraining orders, and promotions often seem based on favouritism rather than performance. The job is simply standing outside all day trying to convince people to get free hearing checks, which most people don’t want or operating an outdated system. Mentally draining, poorly managed, and not worth the low pay.

Earning a living 
Other than that it is a very difficult company to work for
Time and motion they don't care about workers

Giving you a new product not much training at all day before or on the day release
Continue to harassment clients calling every week or so to fill clinics

Environment leaves a lot to be desired

Can be stressful if not getting the stat they want

Getting paid a regular wage, sick days, holidays and an extra day of paid leave for your birthday.

There is not enough staff so as soon as a person takes a sick day or holidays there is no coverage. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The people making decisions have rarely done the job you or your Audiologist have done. Everyone seems to be leaving. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very stressful from start to finish.

This company is constantly cutting all perks for staff, have unrealistic expectations in terms of what can be accomplished day to day. KPIs are all they care about. Patronizing managers treat staff like they are children. The computer software FOX is a joke, making daily life a nightmare. Still spits out messages no one can read because they are in Italian and crashed twenty times a day. Worst company you could work for. Avoid at all costs.

1) Amplifon branded hearing aids may not be the latest ones provided by the manufacturer
2) Immense sales pressure
3) While travelling to other clinics, 15 kms are deducted from the payment for travel for no reason, and not adequate time provided for the travel. You are expected to travel using your personal time. 
4) Pressure to fit client's on same day with no extra admin time provided 
5) Sluggish software to create orders
