AIDACARE  -   Such a busy Company when employed with Aidacare -  Fabulous Marketing of Company products and genuine caring of fellow employees who were proud to be associated with the Company - Inservice ongoing of new products monthly and contributing to any problems that were an issue - followup of any complaints  was immediate -  just excellent Customer Service.  Management was there when required - nil issues - availability to resolve any discrepencies was spot on.   Workplace culture was very good - we all pulled together to cope with demand and worked as a team  -  some days could be very stressful because of workload demand -  we got there - at the end of the day all was well!   The hardest part of the job  -  organising time off when something urgent came up - and definitely had to plan ahead for annual leave - made to feel very very guilty if you were not there as contracted.   We organised evening's out as a get together which was nice - to be able to relax in another environment and chill. Overall we all made the effort to have a harmonious workplace atmosphere.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Home time. It really is that bad. We are all just a bunch of losers who are too afraid to find something better. And they know it. And exploit it.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
How we treat our customers. Our customers have an average age of 75. And are either old or unwell or seriously handicapped. And yet with us they are guaranteed to spend their last days with a broken bed or a broken bed or no wheelchair. We sell items that we don't carry spares for. It's a tragedy.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
A toxic environment. There are a few clicks and departments that have a normal culture but there are others that are sick and run by megalomaniacs

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
it's too sad to explain. We had a guy come in and be trained on my job. It was so boring he left at lunch time and never came back.

Worked at the BRU warehouse for about 6 months, Just left the company today because the manager said it was offensive that i asked for a pay rise, i was asked to do 6+ different roles at anytime given and was promised a pay rise for over 4 months, never had my salary reviewed , actually yes it happened and it was after 6 months "probation
" my rate p/h went from 21 to 22$ .  The warehouse has been worse but still quite unsafe to work, there's no management of their rubbish whatsoever, worst service department i have ever seen, a bunch of people working in the warehosue are usually not commited to help others. 

will boycott and tell every channel i can about my experience, don't support this company ! they don't care about the environment or workers

I worked at Aidacare approximately 10 years ago now. At that time, I was surrounded by co-workers and management who were self-absorbed and had their own agendas. I am usually friendly and outgoing but during my stay there I kept to myself and avoided dramas generated by both staff and management.  

When I asked for a pay increase, management came up with issues they had with me and used it as an excuse not to agree to a pay increase. Prior to me mentioning it, they had no issues with me.

When I resigned and had my exit interview, I was made to fill it out with the Manager and thus was unable to truly state what I thought of the company/management and therefore it was not a true indicator which, if filled in properly, would be assist the company in improving the current status of its business.

Direct Manager and the CIO was great, very supportive, the work culture started to go downhill as the biggest issue was the high staff turn over due to unrealistic expectations, and underpay and not enough warehouse space causing employees constantly either park to close to each other to or  risk getting double parked in, for the amount of staff that still worked there.

Aidacare is a great customer focussed, results driven company to work for and this was seen by the continual but steady growth that was occurring on a month to month basis.
There was a great team atmosphere amongst co workers to achieve monthly and end of year budgets. 
The most enjoyable part of the job was knowing that as a team we had achieved the goals we had been set and all our customers were happy.

I learned many different things regarding mobility aids and equipment and how they are used
Most of my co-workers were alright to work with but there were 2 or 3 that would not go out of their way to help you at all
The hardest part of the job was trying to make sure the equipment was picked and ready for despatch on time
The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to help people that had needed mobility aids to continue enjoying a better life

Worked 2 jobs and wasn't getting much money. Then was making me do a third job without a pay rise. They were just taking advantage of me.
They put you from section to section and without training expect you to do the job. Not even asked if I was coping. 
When I brought this issue to management they ignored it. Then I took it to the director who said I would be doing a third job. No Im really not happy as I felt that I gave it all.

Aidacare was a great place to learn for experience for me ! The ladies and gents were very lovely and supportive throughout my journey 

Some individuals were extremely questionable however this is seen in a majority of work places and do not reflect the actual business itself. Aidacares values are great and management is great. The service that each employee provided to customers when i worked was genuine 

As a delivery driver office people did not understand that it takes longer to deliver products than just a few minutes to run in and out and did not allow for traffic, trying to find the right person for pick-ups a drop offs, incorrect delivery addresses. I found this very frustrating.
