The people are very friendly and helpful when you ask them questions they don't mind answering.

I was working and on an on-going training there for a few months. I would love to work there it is a public service sector however it is very comfortable working there the work environment  has all the facilities to help you work, learn and grow. you just have to be diligent and study the system harder to know how to use the computer well enough so as to help you do the work properly.

Overall, good place to work for and a permanent position available I would not hesitate to apply and work there again - i love it.

Worked as  polling official at the federal election. The time flew by and the pay was great. Definitively is a long day though. You arrive early in the morning 6.50 and set everything up and people start arriving at 8.00. Breaks are pretty regular but you have to bring your own food and drinks. There are three positions you will rotate through (Ballot Box Guard, Queue Controller, and sighing people off from the book). It is non stop all day till about 5.00 pm then it slows down.

My past experience with the Nsw police department made me enjoy the government department’s employment system

Working at the 2016 Fedral Election as a Returns Officer in the despatch part of the opperation then helping out with the counting of votes its a very good work place and highly regarded position .

with AEC the day was productive and fun day for me dealing with anger people cause I couldn't spell their names cause the way the said.  but my co-workers and managers were friendly and people that I love them.

I had a very enjoyable time.  The supervisor was very helpful and friendly. She was also very helpful to people who came in.  The day was long but I learnt a lot about the election system.

Fun. Ability to advance up the ladder in chosen field. Management is a bit dis-organised but otherwise average. hardest part is turning up to work only to be sent home because phone and computer services are down.

i only worked for one day as part of the election but i would consider doing the job again and even running a polling booth eventually, or just working as a scrutineer
