Culture is the biggest challenge for this company.  Training and involving staff in helping develop systems within the a company, this helps build the culture and ownership. We have a bad habit of burning our people due to there lack of training or they just don't know what they don't know.
 Do like my position because I do get to interact with all aspects of the business. The hardest part of my job is trying to lockdown what direction the business going so as to build a structure to deliver it. 
The most enjoyable part of this job is the diversity of people and their skills.

There is no doubt that Aestec Services has some fantastic, intelligent and driven team members that strive for excellence. However, this is offset by a heavily restricted, untrustworthy and evolving toxic culture lead by senior leadership.

There is limited support, no succession and an expectation for employees to sink or swim. Most ideas that are escalated are discarded and confidential discussions with leaders do not remain confidential which is highly unprofessional.

The more the company grows the more toxic and untrustworthy it has become.

The company will willingly purchase new equipment if required and if there is ongoing work for it but seem to lack willingness to invest into assisting white collar workforce with admin workload. The internal systems are very labor intensive and require manual data entry.
Culture is slowly changing from family oriented business to larger business. The challenge in the next 5 years will be to maintain the family culture whilst growing.

During my time at Aestec I have seen a transformational company looking at opportunities for improvement and to make change for the better, with Covid bringing in some initial challenges at the start of the year the owner stepped up and backed his employees looking at plans to make sure everyone kept their jobs and business as usual.
This showed commitment not only to the employees and staff but also to long term sustainability.

The owner is local and very approachable often giving people a call just to say hello and see how they are going.
Management team are all looked after well with flexible hours if family commitment is required during work time. 
Some days are tough and some days are not to be honest the biggest restriction we have is access to work areas as the sites we work on have operational issues that sometimes restrict access. 
Ive worked at Aestec for a lot of my working life and will hopefully finish here. 

Aestec is family orientated and can be very understanding for personal/family situations. More opportunities for growth and advancement would be valued, and more resources to share heavy workloads is required. 
Better flow of communication from management through the organisation is needed and more realistic understanding from management of administration workloads is required to sustain growth. 

Start day off with toolbox meeting every day.
The work schedule for the week was up on toolbox board so you know what you are doing for the week. 
Pay was good plenty of overtime if you wanted it and we could knock off at 12 on Fridays so it was a great place to work.
Safety is very important and you have to tuck shirt in at all times.

Everyday is different you have hectic days and smooth sailing days.
The crew are great and its a very family orientated atmosphere.  A few management members are great and very approachable. Appreciation is taken a long way and employees/employer need to be respected and rewarded for there efforts and commitment. 

Aestec services is a great company to work for and has some really good people within its team that respect and care for one another. Its staff are treated fairly from what I've observed which gets my respect every day of the week. Although I do see a culture creeping in within its workforce that has me a little concerned, the driving force I believe begins with its leaders.

Aestec have an excellent work culture - they strive to make their workers feel appreciated and valued - from Managers to Laborers. They have a very strong Safety culture which is promoted daily at their morning toolbox and celebrate any workers from the day before for any activities seen to display safe behaviour.
