As our Senior Advisor, Workforce Diversity and Inclusion, you will play a key role in driving this commitment by leading the design, delivery and evaluation of workforce diversity and inclusion initiatives.

You will translate legislative, regulatory and policy requirements into practical programs, resources and reporting that support compliance and meaningful cultural change. Your work will directly contribute to advancing gender equity, preventing gender?based violence, addressing racism and discrimination, and building an accessible and inclusive workplace.

What you'll do

In this role, you will:

Implement workforce diversity and inclusion strategies, programs and policies
Coordinate prevention and response plans, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, tracking progress, and monitoring and reporting outcomes
Develop communication and professional development resources—such as training programs, online modules, intranet content, and tools that build capability and confidence among leaders and staff
Analyse workforce data and prepare internal and external reporting, including submissions to agencies such as the Workplace Gender Equality Agency and the Department of Education
Review and enhance policies and frameworks to align with contemporary equity and inclusion standards and legislative requirements
Collaborate across the University to strengthen inclusive practice and build staff capability through an inclusion lens

Who you are

You are an experienced diversity and inclusion professional who can translate strategy into action and influence change across a complex organisation.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in diversity and inclusion, equity, HR or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion legislation, policy frameworks and contemporary issues, and the ability to translate them into practical outcomes.
Experience designing and delivering initiatives, programs, resources, or training that support inclusive workplace practices.
Strong analytical and data skills, with the ability to interpret information, ensure accuracy, and prepare reports.
Technical proficiency to maintain and improve content and processes across SharePoint, Excel, websites and other digital platforms.
Highly developed communication and relationship building skills, and the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and equity groups.

Salary: Total remuneration range $123,556 to $136,624pa (includes salary range of $104,201 to $115,221pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
