The Corporate Services team includes human resources, procurement, payroll, business operations and digital and technology services. It helps the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport to reach its mission to enable dynamic and inclusive communities and support the WA economy through effective regulation and the facilitation of outstanding sporting and cultural experiences and opportunities.
About the role
Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in data architecture? We are seeking a committed Data Architect to join our dynamic team.
In this position, you will take a lead role in partnering with key business stakeholders across programs of business change. You will be responsible for developing enterprise data architectures that enable data integration and sharing initiatives, articulating data strategies, implementing and managing overarching data governance frameworks, and supporting the adoption of business intelligence and data analytics capabilities across the Department.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates
- Proven experience in the development of data architecture and data governance, with the ability to apply data analysis and business intelligence to support organisational outcomes.
- High data literacy, including the ability to clearly articulate business use cases and outcomes, data sources and management concepts, and suitable analytical approaches.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary business intelligence practices and data warehouse and data lake principles.
- Strong capability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders across a range of levels.
We have one permanent, full time (75hrs p/f) position available.
