About Us

REIC is a professional education service provider located in the heart of Adelaide CBD. We specialise in academic tutoring and education consulting services tailored for international students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Australia.

Our services include university coursework tutoring, IELTS and PTE preparation, academic workshops, and study pathway guidance. We support students across a wide range of disciplines, including Commerce, Accounting, Finance, IT and Marketing. With a dedicated team of full-time staff and contractors, we are committed to helping students achieve academic success and maximise their learning outcomes.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Private Tutor (Finance) to join our Coaching Department.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Plan and design personalised tutoring programs tailored to students with different academic backgrounds and learning needs.
Develop and maintain online learning resources and teaching materials to support long-term academic programs.
Prepare teaching materials and instructional resources for finance-related subjects.
Design and deliver academic workshops and seminars focusing on study skills, essay writing, critical thinking, time management and examination preparation.
Conduct one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions for international students studying finance-related subjects, primarily those offered by the University of Adelaide.
Explain complex academic concepts and provide subject-specific guidance to improve students' understanding and academic performance.
Assess assignments and provide constructive feedback to support students with different learning needs.
Provide advice on study methodology, time management and examination techniques.
Collaborate with other tutors and participate in professional development activities to remain up to date with developments in relevant subject areas.
Undertake ongoing research and review academic literature to ensure teaching materials and teaching methods remain current and effective.
Maintain effective communication with students regarding their academic progress and learning goals.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
Minimum three years of experience in private tutoring or tertiary education support.
Strong knowledge of finance-related subjects and familiarity with Australian university curricula, particularly those offered by the University of Adelaide.
Demonstrated ability to develop customised lesson plans and support students from diverse academic backgrounds.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Bilingual candidates fluent in both English and Mandarin are highly regarded due to the multicultural background of our students.
