Content, Design & Admin Assistant (12 hrs per week)

Location: Hawthorn, VIC. In-office for the first 3 months, with the option to go hybrid after that

About the Role

Looking for a skilled, organised Assistant to support a Business Consultant who works daily with mid-sized commercial trades and service businesses to expand their opportunities.

This isn't a typical 'social media' role — it's B2B focused, centred on project announcements, industry events, targeted content development and professional brand material like capability statements and presentations.

It's a great fit for someone with a strong design sense, comfortable using AI tools, and enjoys variety in a role.

What You'll Be Doing

Designing in Canva — capability statements, presentations, brochures, and other client collateral, plus social graphics and ads
Using AI tools such as Claude as part of the regular content and admin workflow
Developing content ideas centred on project announcements, milestones, and industry events
Assist coordinating on-location shoots — props, logistics, and on-the-day organisation
Managing organic posting across social platforms and LinkedIn, focused on project updates and industry presence
Running LinkedIn ad campaigns (training provided)
General admin — receipt logging, inbox management, quote requests and Google Drive upkeep

What We're Looking For

Strong design sense and Canva experience — comfortable producing polished documents such as capability statements and presentations, not just social tiles
Existing use of AI tools such as Claude in your workflow
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
Willingness to assist with shoot-day logistics and coordination
Comfortable writing for a B2B audience — trades, construction, and commercial services, rather than lifestyle content
Experience running LinkedIn ad campaigns is a bonus (training can be provided)
