Complete a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician over 48 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with our Host Employer, Origin Energy, located in Eraring.
Throughout your training, you will acquire a diverse skill set, including the ability to:

Configure circuits, control systems, and safety measures for various electrical installations.

Conduct maintenance and testing of equipment and machinery.
-
Engage in safety protocols and risk assessment practices.
-
Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble utility industry components.
-
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems within the electricity production sector.
-
Diagnose faults in equipment, both in workshop and on-site settings.
-
Assist certified tradesmen in a secure working environment.

Utilize an array of hand and power tools to execute your duties effectively.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:

Drivers Licence P1 or above

White Card (General Construction Induction)

Cert II Electrotechnology Electrician – desired
