Job Opportunity

Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join a global finance team within a fast-paced, multinational environment.
-
12-month Fixed Term Contract offering exposure to shared services operations and cross-regional collaboration.
-
Key role in supporting financial integrity, cash flow management, and timely financial reporting.
What you will be doing
-
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections and resolve discrepancies
-
Follow up on overdue balances via phone, email, and formal communication
-
Accurately apply incoming payments and maintain invoice tracking records
-
Prepare customer statements, reconcile accounts, and maintain ageing reports
-
Update monthly cash flow forecasts and escalate risks where required
-
Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and Operations teams on billing issues
-
Ensure compliance with credit policies and internal controls
-
Perform daily bank reconciliations and upload transactions into SAP
-
Prepare financial reports and support journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations (AU & NZ entities)

Assist with month-end and year-end close activities

Provide audit support and documentation
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Accounts Receivable processes
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
-
Minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
-
Strong understanding of AR processes (billing, collections, reconciliation)
-
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
-
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office
-
Knowledge of GST compliance and regulatory requirements
-
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail
-
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and regional stakeholders
Nice to have:

Experience in a Shared Services or multinational environment

Strong SAP transaction processing and reporting exposure

Experience supporting multi-entity or cross-country finance operations

Proven track record in process improvement initiatives

Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
