The Broker Support Officer is a key role in the broker channel with an overall purpose to grow

lending and associated product portfolio through mortgage brokers nationally. The officer will be

responsible for processing and managing broker introduced applications starting from application

received until post settlement. Maintaining speed to decision (SLA’s) and communicating to

brokers on each stage of an application is a key task of this role.

Your New Role

As a Broker Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in our Broker network by building relationships with our Brokers through delivery of exceptional service while offering sound residential mortgage advice.

You will work in collaboration with branch staff, regional lending peers and our credit team to provide and support a positive member experience during the largest and most exciting purchase our members make – their home.

This is a fixed term contract role for 18 months.

In this role you will be expected but not limited to:

Process and manage broker home loan & personal loan applications.
Manage High pipeline volumes in a fast-paced environment.
Manage broker and member expectations and application speed to decision.
Manage SLAs
Consistent communication with brokers with outstanding and other requirements requested by credit
Communicate to internal stakeholders such as credit and settlement team to ensure all applications are processed within agreed timeframe

About You

Member experience is your passion, you put your member’s experience in front of everything else.

You are results driven, self-motivated, a Go-Getter who is proactive yet flexible in operation who is also tech savvy! You will have strong retail lending experience, a solid knowledge of the local residential mortgage products and the real estate market within your regions.

You possess the skill and ability to create new opportunities, convert leads and manage your pipeline. You enjoy engaging with members proactively via outbound calling. You have the natural ability to easily build and maintain relationships through business development with members on base and within the local community.
